Although the new 2014 Porsche 911 Turbo (type 991) was revealed, images and details of the Turbo and Turbo S Cabriolet has been lowered for the first time in front of the car's debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show in November.
Featuring twin-turbo 3.8-liter flat engine-six as seen in the coupe, turbo produces 383kW of power and 412kW Turbo S packs. Flat out acceleration will see Turbo Cabriolet cover 0-100km / h in just 3.3 seconds and 3.1 seconds for the Turbo S. This makes it 0.2 seconds faster than the previous model.
Both versions come with a dual-clutch seven-speed automatic transmission as standard, linked to all-wheel drive system sophistication. As the new GT3 and Turbo Coupe, cars with rear-wheel steering technology developed Porsche for ultimate agility and handling.
For the roof, it is a unit of cloth using light magnesium frame mechanism which has been designed to provide a curvy roofline to maintain the profile of the coupe brother. Electrically operated unit can be lifted or closed while on the go, at speeds of up to 48km / h.
As prime 911, Turbo comes loaded with luxury on the inside. There electronically adjustable sports leather seats, all power, climate control and a comprehensive multimedia interface with satellite navigation. The interface for the first time including a Bose premium sound system as standard.
