Here Are the Fastest Electric Cars of Today

In the 1990s, humanity discovered it burned too much dinosaur essence and started to think at alternative ways of powering a car as a countermeasure the the air pollution created in the meantime. And electricity turned out to be the perfect choice.

Compared to those from 100 years ago, today’s technology enabled current EVs to offer increased comfort, look appealing enough and move a lot faster. And as you will see in the video bellow, their power can easily surpass that of a supercar.

Leaving aside some electric dragster prototypes that were built to go as fast as it’s possible on a quarter mile, the fastest vehicle powered by electricity with the ability to corner is the Mitsubishi MiEV Evolotion III , which broke the Pikes Peak record this year.
